XML file users
If you’re using an XML file, please include a <remotetype> field within the XML, and populate with one of the following values that best describes your job’s location flexibility:
- Fully Remote
- COVID-19
- WFH Flexible
If the job is Fully Remote:
- In addition to including Fully Remote in the <remotetype> field, please make sure to enter a value of Remote in the job’s <city> and/or <state> field. If Remote is only put into either <city> or <state>, the other field must be blank.
- ex. <city>Remote <state>blank <country>US = "Remote,US"
- ex. <city>blank <state>Remote <country>US = "Remote,US"
- ex. <city>Remote <state>Remote <country>US = "Remote,US"
- Jobs should not be sent over with a mix of Remote and an actual location in <city> or <state>
- ex. <city>Remote <state>Texas <country>US = ERROR
If the job is temporarily remote due to COVID-19 and will transition back to a non-remote job after the pandemic has ended:
- In addition to including COVID-19 in the <remotetype> field, please be sure to enter the relevant city/state info in the corresponding <city> and <state> fields in the XML.
- ex. <remotetype>COVID-19 <city>Austin <state>TX = “Austin, TX - temporarily remote”
*Jobs that are temporarily remote due to COVID-19 will transition back to a non-remote job after the pandemic has ended.
**Jobs offering the flexibility to work from home will NOT appear in remote search results, but will still appear in relevant searches for work from home jobs.
