Create a Job Template from a Job

Job Templates allow users to easily store the description details for various jobs within the organization.

Instead of copying and pasting text from job descriptions every time a posting is needed, users may instead use Job Templates as a foundation for quickly and easily creating live job listings.

  • To create a Job Template from an existing job, begin in the Job Details of the job.
  • Click Create Job Template.
  • The Add Template dialog box will appear with the content completed based on the job. Review the content and make any necessary edits.
  • Click ADD TEMPLATE to save the new Job Template.
  • Confirmation of the addition of the Job Template will appear on the screen.

Example of Job Template created from an existing job:

  • Job Title - Title of the Job Template/Job.
  • Internal Job ID - Custom internal field for a specific identifier (optional).
  • Job Location - Location of the position. Selected from the Locations added to Settings > Location Setup (optional).
