Q: Does ExactHire ATS have an active job board feed integration with Indeed?
A: Yes - Organic XML feed only (free posting).
The ability to sponsor jobs through the XML Feed is coming soon. In the meantime, work with the Indeed Rep to link to the ExactHire ATS to the existing Indeed account. Once the account is linked, log into the Indeed account, and sponsor the job. The applicants would continue to flow to the ExactHire ATS.
Q: How is the Indeed Free job board integration activated for an ExactHire ATS site?
A: The XML feed feature will be activated for the site by the ExactHire development team at the request of the client. Email support@exacthire.com to request this feature.
Q: Which jobs are included in the XML feed integration with Indeed?
A: Once the Indeed XML feed is activated for the site the feed will show ALL jobs that are listed on the career site.
Q: How are candidates delivered to the ExactHire ATS?
A: Candidates are delivered via an API from Indeed to an endpoint in the ExactHire ATS.
Q: How often will the XML feed be updated?
A: Indeed will read and update the feed twice per day, approximately every 12 hours. It takes up to a few hours for the updates to propagate fully.
Q: How do I close jobs on Indeed when using the XML feed?
A: Close the job(s) on the career site. This will remove the jobs from the XML feed, and the job(s) will be closed on Indeed the next time the feed is updated.
Q: Can I "refresh" my old jobs by changing the dates?
A: No. The job will show the date when the job was originally imported.
Q: Are duplicate entries allowed?
A: No, duplicate listings within the same category and location will be filtered out automatically. If a duplicate listing is found, Indeed will remove the old listing.
Please Note: Make sure that the title(s) of the job(s) do not contain any of the words that Indeed has marked as restricted. If the job title does not adhere to Indeed's naming standards for positions the job will be excluded from the feed.
