Per USCIS, restricted Social Security Cards are not valid for employment.
When countersigning I-9s in OnboardCentric, be sure to only accept unrestricted Social Security cards as a List C document.
Do not accept a Social Security card that is stamped with one of the following restrictions:
“VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION”
“VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH INS AUTHORIZATION”
“NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT”
