If you need to remove an active job listing before its specified End Date, here are the steps you need to follow.
The ATS provides an organized method to post your vacant job listings and push those jobs to different Job Board Favorites. Occasionally, a job listing is filled before the End Date of the job listing, or sometimes, an organization might choose not to fill the job listing.
TO REMOVE A JOB LISTING POSTED TO YOUR PORTAL AND ANY FREE JOB BOARDS YOU SELECTED IN THE "AUTOMATED JOB BOARD FEEDS" SECTION:
Step 1: In the Jobs Dashboard, go to the Job Listings tab, and click on the magnifying glass to the left of the job listing you want to remove.
A new window opens which displays the details of the job listing. (See image below.) Change the End Date of that job listing to the date you hired for the position (must be current date or prior), or if you simply do not plan to hire at this time for the job listing, you can remove the job listing by changing the End Date to today's date. Using today's date or a past date in this field (highlighted yellow below) will remove the job listing from your portal and any free job boards you have selected in the Automated Job Board Feeds section. Click "Update Listing" at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
PLEASE NOTE: Step 1, described above, of changing the End Date of the job listing to a past date automatically removes the job listing from your portal and any Automated Job Board Feeds you have selected. This job posting is removed automatically from those specified free boards because the job listing is shared through an automatic feed. As a reference, clicking the megaphone to the left of the job listing you want to remove, will take you to this selection area. (See images below.) Other than changing the job listing's End Date to the current date or a past date and saving that change, no further action is necessary on your part to remove the job listing from your site and any of the Automated Job Board Feeds you had selected.
TO REMOVE A JOB LISTING POSTED TO YOUR JOB BOARD FAVORITE(S) YOU SELECTED IN THE "ADDITIONAL JOB BOARD PUSH" SECTION:
Step 2: To remove a job listing early from a job board(s) you specified in the Additional Job Board Push section (where you have added your Job Board Favorites), changing the job listing End Date as completed in Step 1, will NOT remove the job listing from those Job Board Favorites that you selected in the Additional Job Board Push section. (See image below.)
Job listings on those Job Boards are posted manually by our Job Post Team. To remove a job listing from the job boards you selected in the Additional Job Board Push section (your Job Board Favorites) before the original job listing End Date occurs, you must remove/cancel the job listing yourself for each board you have chosen. There are two ways you can remove/cancel a job listing you have posted to the job board favorites you selected in the Additional Job Board Push section.
Go to your Ad Tracking page by clicking the clipboard icon next to the job listing you want to remove. (See image below.)
Click "Remove Posting" next to each of the job boards listed in the "Additional Job Board Push Tracking" section as shown in the example below. If you cancel or remove the posting, you will still have access to the proof.
Here is the other option:
Go to your Job Board Push page by clicking the megaphone icon next to the job listing you want to remove. (See image below.)
Click "Remove Posting" next to the job board in the Additional Job Board Push History area.
To recap:
- Changing the End Date to the current or past date for a particular job listing will automatically remove that job listing from your portal and any free job boards you have specified in the Automated Job Board Feeds section. (STEP 1 shown above.)
- You must manually remove the posting from any Job Board Favorite (even those that are free) in which you have posted the job listing in the Additional Job Board Push section by canceling or removing the posting in the Additional Job Board Push Tracking area. (STEP 2 shown above.)
- If you let your job listing run the full time duration you specified, it will automatically end without your needing to take action to cancel it on any of the job boards you selected.
