Depending on how extensive you make your status code list, there may be some status labels that you do not wish to be available to Manager-level and Assigned-level users for selection.
You may use applicant status codes to describe your applicants' progress through the recruiting process as well as reasons why an applicant may not be qualified (aka dispositions) for a position. Depending on how extensive you make your status code list, there may be some status labels that you do not wish to be available to Manager-level and Assigned-level users for selection.
To restrict certain status code options from being selected by your more restricted users, you may simply edit some settings when adding a new or modifying an existing status code. Navigate to your Settings Dashboard, and then select the Statuses tab.
Add a new source by clicking the Plus Icon or click the magnifying glass icon to modify an existing source. Then, note the check boxes for optionally allowing Managers and Assigned Users the ability to select that particular status code for an applicant.
If you do not want your users to be able to view the status either, then it is important that you turn off their ability to view the Notes & History tab from within the Users Dashboard.
