Using Criteria Assessments (HireSelect)

Criteria Assessments (HireSelect) are now available as an integration with your Applicant Tracking System. If you are interested in adding this feature, please contact us at support@ExactHire.com.

Once Criteria Assessments (HireSelect) are added to your system you will find the information to send assessments to applicants as well as view results of the assessment on the Integration tab of the Applicant Record. Simply view the applicant record, click on the Integrations tab, and then the VIEW button.


How to Send an Assessment
Assessments are not sent at the and of an application automatically but must be manually sent by following the steps below.

  1. Access the Criteria Assessment on the Applicant Record by going to Integrations Tab and clicking the VIEW button as described above.
  2. Select a Assessment Catalog from the drop down menu.
  3. Click Order Assessment.


An email is sent to the applicant via no-reply@plansource.com or no-reply@hirecentric.com. This email will contain a link which will direct the applicant to the Criteria Assessment (HireSelect) website to take the assessment.

How to View Assessment Results

  1. Access the Criteria Assessment on the Applicant Record by going to Integrations Tab and clicking the VIEW button as described above.
  2. You will see the results on the Criteria Assessment page.

Note: If the assessment invitation has already been sent but the applicant has not completed the assessment you will see a message indicating that the results are pending.
