What is Indeed Disposition Sync?

Indeed Disposition Sync is a feature that helps improve the quality of applicants you receive from Indeed. It works by sending updates about your hiring process back to Indeed. Example: when a candidate is interviewed, disqualified, or hired.

This shared data helps Indeed learn which types of candidates are a good fit for your jobs. This allows Indeed to send better-matched applicants to your jobs in the future.

Is the ExactHire ATS Integrated with Disposition Sync?

Yes! As a Gold Partner of Indeed, ExactHire automatically includes Disposition Sync for all clients, no extra setup is needed.

How does Indeed Disposition Sync work?

When you update the application stage or disqualification label for an Indeed applicant in your ExactHire ATS (e.g., Interviewed, Disqualified, or Hired), that information is sent securely back to Indeed. This includes:

  • The new status of the application
  • An anonymized application ID
  • A time and date stamp

This data is sent automatically behind the scenes and does not require any extra steps from your hiring team.
