Administrative Users can control the Ad Source options available for use by applicants and administrative team.
The Ad Source tab of the SETTINGS Dashboard allows Administrative users the ability to build a custom list of sources to be used in their system. Click the plus icon to add a new source to the list or use the magnifying glass icon to edit and down arrow icon to archive existing items.
To add a new source you will enter the Source Name, select a job board to associate the source with (optional), and provide a description of the source (optional).
Note: If you have enabled the Extended Source Information Feature the Add an Ad Source box will provide more options for tracking source specific details.
This list of sources from Ad Sources tab will populate the drop down menu in the application in the “How did you hear about this position?” question. If applicants do not find the specific source that referred them in the list they will have an option to select “other” and provide additional information.
This list of sources from Ad Sources tab will also populate the following areas on the administrative side:
- The Source drop down menu for the Generate a Direct Job Link Feature on the Job Board Push page (megaphone icon), found on the Job Listings tab of the JOBS Dashboard.
- The Source drop down menu when adding a new Job Board Favorite on the
- The Source drop down menu when changing the applicant source in the applicant record if the Optional Edit Applicant Declared Source Feature is enabled.
- The Source drop down menu in the applicant record when manually adding an applicant to a job.
