A: The XML feed feature will be activated for the site by the ExactHire development team at the request of the client. Email support@exacthire.com to request this feature.
Q: Which jobs are included in the XML feed integration with ZipRecruiter?
A: Once the ZipRecruiter XML feed is activated for the site the feed will show ALL jobs that are listed on the career site.
Q: How are candidates delivered to the ExactHire ATS?
A: Candidates are delivered via an API from ZipRecruiter to an endpoint in the ExactHire ATS. There is often a 10 minute delay while ZipRecruiter tries to calculate scores before sending the candidate information to the ExactHire ATS.
Q: How often will the XML feed be updated?
A: ZipRecruiter will read and update the feed 4 times per day, approximately every 6 hours. It takes up to a few hours for the updates to propagate fully and 24-48 hours for the updates to reach the ZipRecruiter job board partners.
Q: How do I close jobs on ZipRecruiter when using the XML feed?
A: Close the job(s) on the career site. This will remove the jobs from the XML feed, and the job(s) will be closed on ZipRecruiter the next time the feed is updated.
Q: Can I make changes to job(s) using the ZipRecruiter web site?
A: Yes, jobs(s) posted via XML may be updated directly on the ZipRecruiter web site, but be aware that the next time the feed is updated via XML, the job will be updated to match what is on the XML, which could overwrite any changes that were made on the web site.
Q: Can I "refresh" my old jobs by changing the dates?
A: No. The job will show the date when the job was originally imported. However, ZipRecruiter will refresh the "posted on" date shown to jobseekers every 30 days.
Q: Are duplicate entries allowed?
A: No, duplicate listings within the same category and location will be filtered out automatically. If a duplicate listing is found ZipRecruiter will remove the old listing.
